Survival Zone / Skapocalpse (CD Single)

The latest offering by DeadBeat At Dawn is a double A-side single. The track Survival Zone mixes punk rock with obvious influences from UK rap and reggae, blended together and bringing with it a haunting message of environmental disaster. With the powerful addition of guest vocals by Alice from well respected punk band In Evil Hour, and making it's radio debut on BBC Introducing, Survival Zone shows the world the Thirsk lads mean business. On the flipside is Skapocalypse, the anthem to the genre they lay claim to. The ballsy punk rock is rolled up with frantic ska, as the band drop links to as many post-apocalyptic B-movies as is humanly possible. To give the song it's own unique flavour, they called on their long time mate Stash from Plot 32 to add an ultra catchy trumpet to the mix.
